What can you expect from this excursion?
About a 1.5-hour drive from the accommodation, we arrive at our destination. Together with the reindeer guide, you'll meet a herd of reindeer—and not just any reindeer. These reindeer also perform special tricks. Our reindeer expert will explain these animals, why they look the way they do, how they live, what they eat, and what it's like to work with them. You'll have the chance to pet them and even let them feed from your hand. Everyone, from young to old is welcome to experience this, so don't forget to take pictures. After the reindeer, you'll enjoy a Swedish fika and learn more about Swedish culture and history. You'll learn about and taste an old Swedish drink called bäverskott. This unique 1.5-hour winter experience is a must-see.

Walk with Fred and his friends?
If you haven't had enough of reindeer, you can also walk with them. We'll walk about 1 kilometer (about 30 minutes) through the forests with the reindeer at our side, ending the walk with a delicious Swedish fika, where you'll learn more about Swedish culture and history. You'll learn about and taste an old Swedish drink called bäverskott. This unique two-hour winter experience is one you won't want to miss.

Reindeer Sleigh Ride
Glide through a snow-covered winter landscape on a traditional reindeer-pulled sleigh and enjoy the magic. This 30-minute ride takes you through beautiful forests. Afterward, you'll enjoy a Swedish fika and learn more about Swedish culture and history. You'll learn about and taste an old Swedish drink called Bäverskott. This unique two-hour winter experience is one you won't want to miss.
Good to know: A reindeer can pull approximately 120 kg, meaning several children can go together, a grandparent with a child or an adult alone. Currently, we have a large reindeer trained for sledding, so group rides are limited to smaller groups.
